United Kingdom, Feb. 24 -- The 'Conclave' cast have sent their well wishes to Pope Francis as he remains in critical condition in hospital.

The movie - which tells the fictional story of an election of a new Pope - scooped the coveted Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture accolade at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday (23.02.25) and castmembers took the opportunity to address the current crisis as Pope Francis, 88, battles double pneumonia and bronchitis.

During the ceremony actress Isabella Rossellini sent a message to the Pope before a montage of the film was played, saying: "First of all, we would like to wish Pope Francis a quick recovery."

In the winners' room, she later added to reporters: "Pope Franci...
