United Kingdom, March 15 -- Ciara "knew" love was "in the air" when she introduced Normani to DK Metcalf.

The 28-year-old singer recently announced her engagement to the NFL star, and Ciara has now congratulated the loved-up couple on their news via a post on social media.

In response to the engagement announcement, Ciara - who is married to NFL star Russell Wilson - wrote on TikTok: "@Russell Wilson and I knew when we [introduced] y'all 3yrs ago ..love was truly in the air! Now y'all gon' be booed up for forever!! (sic)"

Russell, 36 - who plays alongside DK at the Pittsburgh Steelers - has also offered his congratulations to the celebrity couple.
