United Kingdom, Sept. 18 -- Chloe Sevigny has apologised for her "lapse in judgement" after posing for photos with Marilyn Manson.

The Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story actress had taken to Instagram to share photos of herself, husband Sinisa Mackovic, director Jonas Akerlund and the disgraced rocker - who has denied multiple claims of sexual abuse from a number of women - but deleted them following a backlash from fans.

According to The Daily Beast, another photo showed Chloe, 50, appearing to lick Manson's face.

After deleting the pictures, shocked fans commented on some of her other posts to declare themselves "disappointed" and vowing to unfollow the actress.
