United Kingdom, Nov. 13 -- Chadwick Boseman is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame five years after his death.

The Black Panther star - who died aged 43 in 2020 following a secret battle with cancer - is to be given a permanent memorial on the famous Los Angeles sidewalk in a ceremony on November 20 which will be accepted on his behalf by his widow Simone Ledward-Boseman.

Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement: "The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honored to celebrate Chadwick Boseman's extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world."
