United Kingdom, March 26 -- BLACKPINK star Jennie wants to close the "gap" between her music and her real-life self.

The 29-year-old singer has already enjoyed huge success in her music career, starring in the chart-topping girl group BLACKPINK - but Jennie now wants to bring her work life and her personal life closer together.

Speaking to Complex, she explained: "Some people might feel the need to separate [themselves from their work], or some people might feel the need to be in sync. I think every artist has their own ways. But for me, I have leaned closer into, 'Let's make sure the gap isn't too big.'"
