United Kingdom, Feb. 16 -- Jesse Eisenberg didn't write a speech for the EE BAFTA Awards because he "didn't think" he would win.

The 41-year-old actor wrote and starred in the comedy film 'A Real Pain' but it came as a complete surprise to him when he picked up the award for Best Original Screenplay and, he dedicated the accolade to his wife Anna Strout, even though she didn't have faith in him either.

Speaking live on stage at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday (16.02.25), he said: "I didn't write anything because I didn't think I'd win! I do want to share this with my wife, who didn't come because she didn't think I'd win!
