United Kingdom, Feb. 13 -- Ashley Roberts wrongly announced Dick Van Dyke had died instead of James Van Der Beek.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer, who is a presenter on the Heart FM Breakfast Show, got caught in an incredibly awkward on air blunder as she was discussing the "sad news" with hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston.

During Thursday's (12.02.26) episode, she said live on air: "I do have some sad news. Dawson's Creek's Dick Van Dyke passed away."

Co-star Jamie was quick to jump in to correct her as uncomfortable laughs could be heard in the background.

He interjected: "Not Dick Van Dyke. Come on, if you're going to do a sensitive moment, if you're going to do an obituary, you can't just say Dick Van Dyke.
