United Kingdom, Jan. 28 -- Ariana Grande threw a lavish party for her team to celebrate her Oscar nomination.

The 31-year-old star was recently nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Glinda in 'Wicked', and Ariana celebrated the achievement by hiring The Aubrey, an upmarket Japanese restaurant in London.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Ariana is riding so high at the moment and she wanted to share the love with her team, who work so hard for her.

"She hired out The Aubrey, which is a really posh sushi restaurant, where they put on a private dining experience.

"As well as marking Ariana's Oscar nomination, it was her manager's birthday, so Ari made it a double celebration....
