United Kingdom, Jan. 8 -- Anthony Joshua has paid tribute to his two friends who died in a recent car crash.

The former heavyweight champion was in the car when Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele lost their lives in Lagos, Nigeria, and Joshua has now taken to social media to pay tribute to his friends.

Joshua, 36 - who sustained minor injuries in the crash, before returning to the UK - wrote on Instagram: "Thank you for all the love and care you have shown my brothers. I didn't even realise how special they are.
