United Kingdom, Feb. 1 -- Amy Adams used to have a "very specific idea" of how to parent her daughter.
The 50-year-old actress - who has Aviana, 14, with her husband Darren Le Gallo - admits that her approach to parenting has evolved over time.
The 'Big Eyes' star - who has been married to Darren since 2015 - told OK! magazine: "Strangely, I think I had a more succinct idea of how I thought I should do everything when she was younger - a very specific idea of how I would parent."
Amy believes parenthood has actually helped her to become more patient.
The Hollywood star explained: "Each person brings their own special skill set and it gets developed over time.
"I have become more patient because I learned that skill through parenting....
