United Kingdom, Sept. 19 -- Alice Evans is "in a bit of a dark place" following the death of her brother.

The 57-year-old actress was left devastated after her beloved sibling Tony passed away last month and she admitted she is struggling to cope.

She explained on Instagram Stories: "Just to say thank you so very much for all the incredible messages about the passing of my brother.

"I'm in a bit of a dark place at the moment. There has been a hold-up in proceedings and the girls and I are dying to get back and hold our family members and to be able to say goodbye to my favourite man in the world.

"But sometimes things take longer than expected and the whole family feels like we're in some sort of limbo.
