United Kingdom, Nov. 18 -- Alec Baldwin has been criticised for visiting the Dancing with the Stars set while refusing to sit for a deposition.

The 67-year-old actor had been asked to sit for a formal interview by lawyers acting for Serge Svetnoy, a gaffer on the movie Rust, since March but has maintained he is unavailable for several months, despite taking the time to travel to Los Angeles to watch wife Hilaria Baldwin perform on the ABC dance competition.

Serge's lawyer wrote in documents obtained by Us Weekly: "In every instance, [Alec and the other defendants] claimed to be unavailable or simply refused to testify."
