United Kingdom, Feb. 10 -- Marc Anthony says the Beckham family drama is "unfortunate", but insisted how it is playing out is "hardly the truth".

The 57-year-old singer and actor was namechecked by Brooklyn Beckham during his lengthy bombshell Instagram post last month, in which he accused his parents of being responsible for their family rift.

Brooklyn, 26, also accused his mum, Victoria Beckham, 51, of "hijacking" his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, after Marc had called him to the stage.

But the You Sang To Me hitmaker - who is godfather to Brooklyn's brother, Cruz Beckham, 20 - has insisted the Beckhams are a "wonderful, wonderful family".
