United Kingdom, Nov. 13 -- Ubisoft is reportedly developing a new sci-fi multiplayer shooter.

The unannounced title - allegedly codenamed Project Scout - is said to be built in Unreal Engine 5, and is said to feature crossplay and competitive large-scale multiplayer modes.

The claim originated from industry insiders Shiny and 6leaks, who shared supposed concept art and early in-development screenshots.

The screenshots supposedly showed off in-game UI elements, including a crew level indicator and compass interface.

The images suggest a futuristic aesthetic, with armoured characters and sprawling environments that point toward a spacefaring or interplanetary setting.
