United Kingdom, Dec. 12 -- Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios have unveiled two major new Tomb Raider projects, signalling a renewed push for the long-running franchise across both new stories and classic ground.

Revealed during The Game Awards, Tomb Raider: Catalyst is the next mainline entry in Lara Croft's story and has been in development since Crystal Dynamics partnered with Amazon Game Studios in 2022.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game is set in Northern India following a mythical cataclysm that exposes ancient powers and attracts rival treasure hunters from around the world.
