United Kingdom, Nov. 11 -- Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard has confirmed The Elder Scrolls VI is "still a long way off".

Fans of the fantasy-RPG franchise have been waiting for the next instalment since Skyrim's release in 2011, and altough Howard has admitted The Elder Scrolls VI won't be releasing anytime soon, he insisted its development has now become an "everyday thing".

Speaking with GQ, he said: "We have hundreds of people on Fallout right now, with 76 and some other things we're doing, but The Elder Scrolls VI is the everyday thing."

While details remain scarce, Howard acknowledged that the gap between Skyrim and its sequel has stretched far longer than he'd like, but emphasised Bethesda needed "a creative reset" wit...
