United Kingdom, Feb. 10 -- Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds will receive another "large-scale" expansion later in 2026.

The announcement came during a video celebrating the game's first anniversary, where series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto teased a major update that will be similar in scope to the beloved Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion.

Tsujimoto said: "While this marks the end of major content updates, the team is currently hard at work on a large-scale expansion to Monster Hunter Wilds.

"We look forward to sharing the first reveal of the expansion this summer."
