United Kingdom, Dec. 3 -- The Monster Hunter series will "of course" be expanded on after Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom has said.
Speaking at the PlayStation Partner Awards - where the 2025 action-RPG took home both the Grand Award and the Users' Choice Award - producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed that "of course, we don't intend to stop the series here," and that Capcom aims to "let more people play" while exploring opportunities beyond games to grow the Monster Hunter IP.
Wilds itself has had quite the arc since its February launch, and director Yuya Tokuda openly acknowledged that early player feedback - particularly criticisms about content volume and difficulty - hit hard, prompting the team to issue an apology and refocus development...
