United Kingdom, Nov. 7 -- Take-Two Interactive boss Strauss Zelnick is "highly confident" Grand Theft Auto VI can meet its new release date.
The highly-anticipated action/sanbox title was due to release in May 2026, but developer Rocktar Games has announced GTA VI will now launch on November 19, 2026 to give the studio enough time to "polish the title".
Despite the pushback, Zelnick - who heads up Rockstar's publisher Take-Two - is certain GTA VI will not be delayed again.
When IGN asked the studio boss if he was sure GTA VI would meet its new November 2026 release, he said: "I'm highly confident.
