United Kingdom, Nov. 12 -- A Fallout 3 remaster is reportedly still in active development at Bethesda Game Studios.
According to a new report from VGC, the project - which first surfaced in the massive 2023 Bethesda document leak - appears to be one of the "other things" in the Fallout franchise Todd Howard referenced in his recent GQ interview about The Elder Scrolls VI.
Sources familiar with Bethesda's roadmap claim that the Fallout 3 remaster is being developed in the same style as this year's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
The remake of the 2006 RPG provided a modernised update of the game that preserved the original experience, while overhauling visuals, performance, and accessibility for current-gen platforms.
