United Kingdom, Nov. 19 -- Escape from Tarkov developer Battlestate Games has apologised for the extraction shooter's turbulent 1.0 launch.
Game director Nikita Buyanov addressed the community directly on X, thanking players for the "overwhelming interest" but admitting the debut was "rough for sure" due to the title's rocky technical performance.
Buyanov said servers were "getting full really fast," prompting the studio to add capacity worldwide, and committed to "finally crack[ing] the performance problems, outdated stuff and legacy bugs" that continue to frustrate players.
Tarkov's 1.0 update arrived alongside its long-awaited Steam release, but user reviews currently sit at "Mixed," fuelled by reports of freezes, matchmaking delays...
