United Kingdom, Dec. 16 -- Bungie has confirmed Marathon will launch in March 2026 with a $39.99 (£34.99 / €39.99) price tag.

The delayed extraction shooter, revealed in greater detail through a new "Vision of Marathon" video, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in just three months' time.

Bungie has positioned the pricing alongside rivals such as Arc Raiders, signalling a move away from premium $70 releases while stopping short of a free-to-play model.

Marathon is a PvPvE experience set on the hostile planet Tau Ceti IV, where players take on the role of Runners - mercenaries who transfer their consciousness into interchangeable shells with distinct abilities.
