However, the ensuing drama turned our entire apartment complex into something like a Nigerian film. What about the gate? Things were seen by that gate.On a Saturday morning, it all began. Wearing my old dera and dancing to Otile Brown, I was scrubbing the living room. My boyfriend was singing like he had won a BET award while taking a shower. Then, however, his phone sprang to life on the table. A murmur of curiosity came. I took a look.The name displayed on the screen? "Mama Kevo." This wasn't his mother, though. or his aunt. This name had previously appeared in a dubious remark on his Facebook page. Something like "Umenona sasa, unakumbuka tulivyokuwa na wewe Kisii?" with three kissing emojis.
