Kenya, March 13 -- The high-profile divorce between singer-actress Teyana Taylor and former NBA star Iman Shumpert has officially concluded, with court documents revealing a substantial settlement heavily favouring Taylor.

The agreement, finalised this week after months of legal wrangling, awards Taylor four properties collectively valued at over $10 million, a seven-figure cash payout, and a fleet of luxury vehicles, cementing one of the entertainment world's most lucrative divorce deals in recent memory.

Under the terms of the settlement, Taylor, 34, will take ownership of four homes, though specific locations were not disclosed in public filings.

She also secures a $300,000 Maybach, a $70,000 Mercedes Sprinter, and a custom tour bus-assets reflective of the couple's lavish lifestyle during their seven-year marriage.

A significant win, Taylor retains full control of her business ventures, including her music and fashion enterprises, which have bolstered her status as a multifaceted mogul.

Shumpert, 34, has been ordered to pay $8,000 per month in child support for the couple's two daughters, Junie, 9, and Rue, 4.

Additionally, the retired basketball player will cover the full cost of their private school tuition, ensuring continuity in their education.

The settlement imposes no alimony obligations, a detail that has drawn attention given the disparity in their reported earnings during the marriage.

The divorce, initiated by Taylor in January 2023, citing irreconcilable differences, followed years of public speculation about the couple's relationship.

Sources close to the proceedings described the negotiations as contentious, with Shumpert's legal team initially contesting the division of assets.

However, the final agreement, signed off by a Los Angeles County judge, brings an end to the saga that captivated fans and tabloids alike.Taylor's attorney hailed the outcome as a victory for her client.

"Teyana has fought hard to protect her future and her children's wellbeing, and this settlement reflects her resilience and success," the lawyer said in a statement.

Shumpert's representatives, meanwhile, declined to comment, though insiders suggest he is eager to move forward after the prolonged legal battle.

The split marks the end of a union that began with a fairy-tale romance in 2016 when Taylor and Shumpert tied the knot in a private ceremony.

Their relationship, often showcased on social media and in Taylor's reality series Teyana & Iman, had been a symbol of Black love and creativity until cracks emerged in recent years.

For Taylor, the settlement provides a robust financial foundation as she continues to expand her career, with upcoming projects in music and film already generating buzz.

Shumpert, who retired from the NBA in 2022 after a 12-year career, has shifted focus to music and entrepreneurship, though his net worth is said to have taken a hit from the divorce.
