
Kenya, May 11 -- The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the National Resistance Movement (NRM) of Uganda have come together to work closely.
They announced this partnership in a meeting at Hustler Plaza. The leaders from both parties, Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar from UDA and Richard Todwong from NRM, said they will share knowledge and training to improve their skills in different areas.
The NRM team learned about how the Presidential Economic Council works on the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
At the same time, the UDA group will gain experience from the National Leadership Institute (NALI) in Kyankwanzi.
During their 3-day visit to Uganda, the NRM team also met with Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and visited an affordable housing project in Kibra before returning to Kampala.
Some of the UDA members present at the meeting included National Treasurer Japheth Nyakundi and Deputy Secretary General Hon. Omboko Milemba.
Others include Brian Mbugua, Daniel Kiptoo, Rob Jillo, Grace Gicovi, Nathaniel Mong'are, Margaret Ndanyi, Sam Mwangi, Halake Waqo, and Joseph Mulili.
