Kenya, April 18 -- Apostle James Ng'ang'a, who started Neno Evangelism Centre, held a special fasting service for his church members. During this service, participants wore sackcloth to show their repentance and humility.

This event, which followed biblical traditions, was unique and caught a lot of attention for its serious tone.

It took place at the church's main location, where members prayed hard and thought deeply about their faith.

The sackcloth, a rough fabric used in the past for mourning and showing regret, highlighted how important this occasion was.

Church leaders said this service was a purposeful act of devotion meant to help attendees feel closer to God. "This is a time to be humble and to ask for God's guidance," said a church spokesperson.

The visible display of faith attracted different reactions from people watching. Some praised the church for its strong expression of belief.

Neno Evangelism Centre showed that it is dedicated to meaningful spiritual actions and plans to have more events like this in the future.
