Kenya, July 30 -- Members of a growing Pentecostal church in Eldoret are still in shock after their head pastor suddenly stopped a secret relationship that had been causing problems in the church for months. The pastor made this announcement during a Sunday service, where he cried and said he needed to focus on his true calling. He didn't say any names, but everyone in the church seemed to know who he was talking about.
The woman involved, who used to be an usher and is now the choir director, had been rumoured to be close to the pastor, even though he is married and speaks strongly about being moral. There had been tension in the church for over a year, with whispers and disagreements among members. The service started normally with singing and sharing stories.
