Kenya, Oct. 8 -- Kenyans march for Israel in a powerful display of solidarity, chanting "No Israel, no Messiah!" as hundreds flooded the streets of the capital. The event, held on October 7, 2025, drew evangelical Christians, youth groups, and faith leaders who waved Israeli and Kenyan flags along a three-kilometre route through the Central Business District.
Organised by a coalition including the King Jesus Celebration Church Worldwide and the Africa-Israel Initiative, the peaceful procession started at 10 a.m. and wrapped up after noon with prayers for peace in the Middle East.
Bishop Paul Karanja, chairman of the Faith Fathers of Kenya, told the crowd, "We are here to declare that Israel is not alone. We will continue to stand with them."
Participants emphasised their shared biblical roots, viewing an attack on Israel as an assault on Christian heritage. One young marcher, carrying a sign reading "Bless Israel, Be Blessed", said the rally was a call to move faith from private prayers to public action.
The march commemorated the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, with speakers thanking the Kenyan government for its support and police escorts that ensured a smooth event.
As the group sang Kenya's national anthem to a close, organisers hinted at plans to inspire similar rallies across Africa, strengthening ties between the continent and the Jewish state.
Bystanders had mixed reactions - some cheered, while others paused in quiet reflection amid the city's bustle. This outpouring shows Kenya's growing role in global faith-based alliances.
