Kenya, Aug. 25 -- Days of happiness, laughing, and fresh starts are what weddings are supposed to be. However, the wedding that took place in Nakuru last month became a memorable event for the community. A young couple's purported happiest day swiftly devolved into a spectacle of confusion, cries, and humiliation. In order to celebrate his marriage to a stunning young woman, the groom, a guy in his late forties, had gathered all of his family and friends. But few people knew that he was already married.
His legal wife sat in silence at home, grieving the humiliation and betrayal of learning that her husband of ten years was going to take a vow with someone else. She had prepared his meals, reared his kids, and supported him through innumerable hardships. However, he felt she was no longer "good enough" for him once he achieved success and received a promotion at work.
