
Kenya, July 22 -- Yesterday, a guy outside Nairobi's City Hall started yelling, screaming, and weeping hysterically after learning that he had won a Ksh 2.5 million government procurement, causing bewilderment and amazement. As onlookers and security officers watched, the man, who looked to be in his late forties, was seen brandishing many documents and yelling things like "It actually worked" and "No bribe, no connections."
At first, people thought he was in difficulty, but he soon clarified that he was really overjoyed. The guy told interested onlookers that he had been trying for years to get tenders through the formal method. Nothing ever appeared to work out for him, even though he followed the rules and submitted ideas. But he claimed that something felt different this time. He publicly attributed his unexpected achievement to a traditional spiritual mentor he dubbed Dr. Bokko, despite his decision to keep his identity a secret. To read more click here.
