Kenya, July 4 -- Peter thought he had met a God-fearing wife when he married Sharon five years ago. They were regarded by many as the ideal pair, met in church, and sang in the choir. However, their marriage had been gradually failing behind the grins and Sunday selfies. Peter began to notice that his wife was acting strangely. She would frequently assert that their marital issues were spiritual, get home late after "fellowship", and be extremely discreet with her phone.

Additionally, she started to discourage Peter from attending prayer sessions with her. She would claim it was a "ladies-only deliverance session" whenever he persisted. "I had faith in her. I cherished her. But I had a gut feeling that something wasn't right," Peter remembers. Peter chose to covertly follow her after waking up early one Saturday morning. Sharon had informed him that she was going to a secluded area of Kiambu to attend a private marital counselling session with her pastor. To read more click here.
