Kenya, March 16 -- Lemogang Tsipa is back as Shaka, the famous figure from Africa, in the second season of the show Shaka iLembe.
This historical drama will start on Sunday, June 15, and you can watch it on Maisha Magic Plus, DStv Channel 163, and GOtv Channel 3.
In the first season, which aired in 2023, Tsipa's performance as Shaka, the strong Zulu leader, impressed many viewers. The show captured a large audience across the continent.
The new season will show how Shaka becomes a powerful king, changing from a tough warrior to a wise leader.
Tsipa shared that there are many exciting surprises coming up in the story.
Shaka iLembe is produced by Bomb! Productions. The show carefully combines real history with interesting storytelling, highlighting the important details of the Zulu kingdom.
The cast includes well-known actors like Nomzamo Mbatha, who plays Queen Nandi, and some new faces, too.
Filming took place earlier this year in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
