According to locals, the butcher is alleged to have mutilated a man over a debt amounting to Ksh. 50.

The victim, identified only as 'Muthii', is reportedly in critical condition at Kerugoya Referral Hospital.

The incident, which has sparked outrage among residents, led to immediate public demonstrations demanding justice and legal action against the butcher.
