
Kenya, July 9 -- I used to believe that infertility was a problem that only women faced. Isn't that what society tells us? Everyone looks at the lady in a marriage when there are no children. People begin to mutter, "What is preventing her from becoming pregnant?""Perhaps she had an abortion prior to marriage." "She is cursed." I also thought so until I discovered the hard way that I was the issue.Four years had passed since my wife and I got married. No kids. Not even an abortion. Just waiting forever. Every month when her periods arrived, she sobbed quietly. She would pretend to grin while holding it against her lower abdomen. "God's timing is best," I would respond, giving her a pat in return.
