
Kenya, Sept. 5 -- I never thought I'd sit across from my husband at our dining table, feeling empty. No spark, no warmth, just a hollow silence. The man I once loved fiercely had become a stranger. Initially, I dismissed it as a temporary lull-marriage isn't always romance and roses. But weeks stretched into months, then years. Our talks dwindled to mundane chores: bills, kids' schedules, groceries. Kisses faded, touches vanished. We were mere roommates, coexisting for our children.
The loneliness gnawed at me. At night, I'd stare at the ceiling, haunted by memories of our passionate past-courtship strolls, flirty texts, his hands always seeking mine.
