Kenya, June 30 -- When you hear the word cancer, everything stops. All of your preparations and knowledge suddenly come to a halt. I'm Stella, and I never imagined that I would survive to hold my future grandkids, see my daughter's graduation, or even be able to breathe normally again. However, I am now entire, healed, and sharing my experience with the world.It started out as erratic bleeding. I was a 38-year-old single mother of two who worked as a receptionist in Eldoret. I thought it was stress or early menopause. I choose to disregard it. But I knew something was amiss when the bleeding got heavier and I started to feel tired and have back pain that made it difficult to get out of bed.
