
Kenya, July 16 -- Nothing in my life was functioning at one point. My store was deserted. My clients vanished. Those I had previously assisted abandoned me. I owed money. The rent was due. My family even began to shun me. There was trouble wherever I looked. Orders were delayed. My merchandise vanished. Employees stole from me. Dead rats were even thrown at my business door one day. I realised that the scenario was no longer typical. They were attacking me. Both monetarily and spiritually.I spent most evenings crying by myself. Shadows and snakes chased me in my nightmares. It seemed like a curse every day. I considered shutting my store and returning to my village. However, I had a stubborn streak. I met a woman in the market one Sunday.
