Kenya, May 19 -- Grigory Shavrin, a 59-year-old man who designed men's clothing, died from a heart problem on Sunday while in prison at IK-6 in Melekhovo, Kovrov district, Vladimir region. Reports say that he was taken to the medical unit in the prison but sadly could not be saved.

Last year, Grigory was arrested in the village of Desna, near Moscow. The police found illegal drugs on him.

He was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. This was not the first time he had problems with the law; he had been convicted before for drug-related issues.

Grigory's mother, Ekaterina Shavrina, is a famous singer. She has openly talked about her son's struggles with drug addiction.

In past interviews, she mentioned how hard it was for her to support him, saying, "I was going crazy then! Grisha finished school and got involved in bad things."

A few years ago, she had hope that Grigory had stopped using drugs, as he had started to build a better life with "his own house and farm".

Ekaterina also shared how much pressure she felt as a performer. She explained, "If people found out something was wrong with my son, I wouldn't be allowed to tour abroad. I had to keep it all inside."

Her life has had a lot of sadness. More than ten years ago, she lost her sister Tatyana in a car accident. She talked about this on a TV show called The Fate of a Man with Boris Korchevnikov.

She recalled the crash, saying, "I turned sharply to the left, lost control, and we crashed into another car. Tanya was gone." She and her other sister, Rada, got hurt, but Ekaterina chose to heal at home instead of going to the hospital.

She did not want to take legal action against the other driver involved, saying, "He's a very good person. I didn't want to ruin his life. Tanya can't be brought back."

Grigory's death is a sad moment for the family and adds to the many difficulties they have faced over the years.
