
Kenya, Aug. 15 -- People in Vihiga County's Ebusakami Village are still in disbelief following a funeral that many describe as the most horrifying spiritual occurrence they have ever seen. When the family of 68-year-old Mzee Peter Ochieng assembled for his last farewell on a Saturday afternoon, the event started. The retired educator, Mzee Peter had passed away quietly while he slept. As the sun sank, his body was lowered into the grave after speeches and hymns were performed in a customary manner.But when the townspeople awoke on Sunday morning, they saw the coffin resting on the recently excavated tomb, with the dirt all over it as though it had been forcefully forced out from below. Speaking to reporters, Mama Akoth, a neighbour, shook and said, "I thought it was a hyena." However, the coffin was carefully placed on top of the tomb, and there were no paw prints or other disturbances surrounding the enclosure. We realised then that this was not an animal.
