Kenya, March 17 -- Former Ramogi FM Radio Manager Charles Odhiambo is said to be unconscious and in serious danger after being attacked by a group of unknown people. Sources allege that she was caught red-handed with Mpango Wa Kando who doubles as her chief of staff, by her husband, who was recently appointed by President William Ruto in government.
Some reports, which have not been confirmed, suggest that the attack was planned by individuals connected to the husband of Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga.
According to some bloggers, Maverick Aoko and Ja Loka, Odhiambo, who moved from radio to politics, was targeted because of personal issues involving Gladys Wanga's husband.
Blogger Maverick Aoko mentioned on social media that the attack may be related to Odhiambo's close relationship with Governor Wanga, for whom he worked as Chief of Staff after she hired him from Royal Media Services. The attack has left Odhiambo in critical condition, causing many people to react online.
"Charles Odhiambo, the former radio manager at Ramogi, is now unconscious and very close to death. He was beaten by hired men sent by Governor Wanga's husband because he has been having an affair with Wanga since she brought him on as her chief of staff," Maverick Aoko wrote online.
Another blogger, Ja Loka, showed support for Maverick Aoko's statements, calling the situation unfortunate.
He stated that Odhiambo is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), fighting for his life after being attacked by people sent by the governor's husband.
It is said that Odhiambo was caught in bed with Wanga when her husband found them together and attacked him badly.
"Homa Bay County Chief of Staff, Mr. Charles, is fighting for his life in the ICU because the governor's husband discovered him in bed with his wife, who is also the ODM National Chairperson and beat him severely. He may not survive," Ja Loka wrote online.
