Kenya, July 30 -- A powerful HR manager at a well-known real estate company in Nairobi surprised everyone this week. She broke down in tears and apologized to a junior employee whom she had allegedly bullied for several months. What is strange is that no official complaint had been made, and the worker who was bullied had never said anything about it.The event happened during a regular meeting on a Monday with department heads and staff.
People who were there noticed that the manager, who is usually strict and tough, suddenly stopped talking in the middle of her presentation. After a long pause, she looked at the employee sitting in the back and started to cry. She then walked over, got down on her knees, and asked for forgiveness in front of her surprised colleagues. "I was wrong," she said. "You didn't deserve what I did to you." The junior employee, a quiet woman in her late twenties, looked very shocked and needed help getting back on her feet.
