Kenya, July 23 -- Following its owner Mary Wanjiku's trip to Migori for a special consultation with a potent traditional spiritualist, a little store on River Road has suddenly become one of the busiest kiosks in the neighbourhood. For months, Mary, who owns a small store selling accessories and cosmetics, has been dealing with severe difficulties. She opened early and gave discounts, but she could only attract five clients a day. On some days, she had nothing when she returned home.Having a conversation with local reporters, Mary said that just as she was going to close her store, a friend told her about Dr. Bokko, a doctor in Migori who casts strong charms to draw clients. Despite her initial scepticism, she chose to try it. When my friend crossed to Migori last year, her salon was crowded with clients in just one week.
