India, April 23 -- The Mahindra Bolero Neo compact SUV received a 1-star safety rating in the most recent round of GNCAP. The 7-seater SUV scored 20.26 out of 34 points and 12.71 out of 49 points for adult and child protection, respectively. To begin with adult occupant protection, the widely recognised global testing body indicated that the Bolero Neo had an unstable frame and footwell portion along with inadequate chest and foot protection. The Mahindra SUV does not have curtain airbags and seatbelt reminders for all occupants, which contributed to the low scores in the category.
