India, March 7 -- Volvo has launched the single-motor version of the XC40 Recharge in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 54.95 lakh. The new entry-level model is available for purchase alongside the top-end, twin-motor variant, which retails for Rs 57.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The electric vehicle is a testament to the premium automaker's support of domestic manufacturing, as it is assembled at the facility located in Hosakate, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
