India, Feb. 20 -- Unveiled last year at EICMA, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 has been teased on the brand's social media platforms. The new middleweight motorcycle - powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine - is expected to go on sale in India in late March or early April 2024. Speaking of powertrain, the fully-faired Kawasaki Ninja 500 uses the same engine as the Kawasaki Eliminator 500. A 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled mill in the Eliminator churns out 45bhp at 9,000rpm. Meanwhile, the torque output stands at 42.6Nm at 6,000rpm, which is 4.6Nm more than that of the Ninja 400.
