India, March 15 -- Ultraviolette Automotive has upped the charging game for its F77 electric bike with a new DC fast charging infrastructure known as the UV Supernova. The brand-new charging stations feature Supernova (6kW) and Supernova Plus (12kW) chargers, both having type 6 connectors. Based on BIS Standard IS17017-2-6 (IEC 62196-6), these chargers can top up the standard Ultraviolette F77 and the F77 Recon from 20% to 80% in 40 to 60 minutes. This is faster than the basic charger, which takes over eight hours, and the optional Boost Charger, which takes four hours to deliver a full charge.
