India, April 3 -- Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a voluntary recall for 2,305 Glanza hatchbacks across India. The issue stems from a malfunctioning fuel pump motor in the impacted Toyota Glanza vehicles, produced between April 2 and October 6, 2019. The impacted units' fuel pump motor problem may cause the engine to stall or have trouble starting. According to the manufacturer, the recall effort is an extension of the one that was started on July 31, 2020. In the domestic market, the Glanza is currently available for purchase in four variants, namely E, S, G, and V, across manual and automatic gearbox options.
