India, April 15 -- Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), an electric subsidiary of Tata Motors, and Shell India Markets Private Limited (SIMPL), the global lubricant major, have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the installation of charging stations across India. This partnership will leverage the latter's extensive fuel station network and the former's insights from over 1.40 lakh electric vehicles (EVs) on Indian roads, to deploy chargers at locations frequented by Tata EV owners. In addition, both companies will work toward providing superior EV charging experience to EV owners, according to Tata Motors.
