India, Feb. 14 -- Global NCAP has awarded the all-new Tata Nexon with an exemplary 5-star safety rating in its latest round of crash tests. The SUV obtained 32.22 out of 34 points for adult protection as well as 44.52 out of 49 for child protection. Interestingly, the first generation Nexon was the first Indian car that won a perfect score of five stars from the GNCAP crash test in 2018. The refreshed Nexon showed good all-around protection for the front adult occupants, in addition to adequate chest protection, in both the frontal offset crash test as well as the barrier assessment.
