India, March 25 -- Tata Motors, India's leading automobile manufacturer, has inaugurated its fifth Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF), near Delhi. Named Re.Wi.Re-Recycle with Respect, the facility comes as part of the company's plan to open at least one such facility in each state. It will scrap passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands that have reached the end of their lifecycle while focusing on utilising environmentally friendly processes. Tata Motors says the plant can disassemble 18,000 end-of-life vehicles per year.
